About Summer Stage

St. Norbert Colleges Music Theatre was organized by Dudley Birder in 1962 to bring Broadway musicals to northeast Wisconsin using local performers. In the Fall of 2017, all outreach activities pertaining to musicals were organized into distinct programming efforts: Next Stage and Summer Stage. The expanded programming is managed by St. Norbert College Music Theatre under a unified vision.

Summer Stage is a community theatre experience that takes place in the summer, is focused on age-appropriate casting, and is dedicated to performing high-quality musical theatre productions.

Summer Stage Mission
The mission of our Summer Stage program is to inspire, celebrate, and develop a greater understanding of ourselves and the world we live in through the presentation of new or distinctive music theatre pieces and innovative interpretations of classic musical theatre masterworks.
